BYRON BAY RYT-200 STUDENTS - ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION

  • There are 8 Mandatory Assignments you need to complete and hand in to graduate (including Practical Teaching Hours Log Sheet).

  • The only Assignments you can begin BEFORE the course are the Anatomy Colouring (which is optional) and the Power of Now (which you can also do after your time in Byron Bay)

  • Your teacher will take you through the process of assignments on Day 1

  • Please DOWNLOAD or DOWNLOAD and PRINT the Santosha Byron Bay RYT-200 Assignments and Assessments Manual before you leave, ready to start work on the course

Certification Requirements and Required Logged Hours for Byron Bay RYT-200 Students

Before submitting your final yoga teaching assessment, you must log the following hours during your training journey:

  • 5 hours teaching stand-alone Pranayama core practices. (practice teaching hours will be acquired AFTER the 14-day in person YTT)

  • 5 hours teaching stand-alone Meditation core practices. (practice teaching hours will be acquired AFTER the 14-day in person YTT)

  • 15 hours teaching a full Asana class, including all class components. (practice teaching hours will be acquired AFTER the 14-day in person YTT)

Before receiving your certified YTT certificate, you must complete the following:

  • Completion of all online course components, including modules in the course portal, and assignments and assessments (in person and online).

  • Submission of all mandatory work to Google Classroom. [Assignments #1 to #7]

  • Submission of Practice Teaching Hours - Log Sheet

Your student for practice teaching hours can be:

  • A fellow student on the YTT

  • A lover, family member, or friend

These teaching hours can be completed either:

  • 1:1 with an individual student

  • With a larger group of students in person or online

If you’re having difficulty finding a student, please:

  • Reach out to your peers first to see if they can assist

  • If you’re still unable to find a student, contact student support at student@santoshayogainstitute.edu.au and we’ll be happy to support you!
